Chestnut Brownies
Indulge in these decadent Chestnut Brownies that are not only vegan but also paleo-friendly. Made with wholesome chestnut flour and sweetened with coconut sugar, these brownies are rich, moist, and perfect for satisfying your chocolate cravings.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup chestnut flour
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup chopped dark chocolate or vegan chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and grease a square baking dish
In a mixing bowl, combine chestnut flour, coconut sugar, cocoa powder, melted coconut oil, almond milk, vanilla extract, and salt
Mix until smooth
Fold in chopped dark chocolate or vegan chocolate chips
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs
Remove from the oven and let it cool completely before slicing into squares
