Creamy Lemon Wine Pasta with Wilted Greens

Indulge in this delightful pasta dish featuring a creamy lemon wine sauce that perfectly complements the earthy flavors of wilted greens. Its a simple yet elegant meal thats sure to impress

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups mixed greens such as spinach, kale, or Swiss chard
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions:

Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente

Drain and set aside

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat

Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute

Add mixed greens to the skillet and saut until wilted, about 2-3 minutes

Pour white wine into the skillet and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly reduced

Stir in heavy cream, lemon zest, and lemon juice

Season with salt and pepper to taste

Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated with the creamy lemon wine sauce

Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese
